OrderOut Integration: Onboarding Tutorial
· Thibault Le Conte
Onboarding with OrderOut for your Clover POS is a simple process that can be completed in a matter of minutes. In many cases, you can begin accepting orders the same day that you complete Orderout integration with your favorite third-party food delivery services. Whether you prefer GrubHub, Uber Eats, DoorDash, another service, or all of the above, installation of OrderOut, integration, and onboarding requires only a few steps.
Step 1: Setup and Login to the OrderOut Dashboard
- Visit OrderOut.co and sign up for an account
- This can be done by logging in with an existing Google account or you can enter your e-mail address manually. Keep in mind, two-factor authentication may be required in order to complete the setup. In this case, a code will be sent to the e-mail address you entered. You will need to enter the code to proceed with your account setup.
Note: If several minutes have passed and you have not received the e-mail containing the code, be sure to check your spam folder.
Step 2: Navigate to “Delivery Services”
After the code in the previous step has been entered successfully, you will be brought to the “reporting” page. Search the lefthand navigation menu and select “Delivery Services” to proceed.
Step 3: Connect Delivery Platforms to Your OrderOut Account
Once you arrive at this page, you will be presented with a number of delivery platform options. Select the delivery platform that you wish to connect to, whether GrubHub, DoorDash, UberEats, or ChowNow, the process is user-friendly and fast.
- For Uber Eats , the process is expedited. From the delivery services page, locate the section for Uber Eats and click the “connect” button on the right. This will trigger a response to log in to your Uber Eats third-party food delivery service account. Here, you will authorize OrderOut to integrate with the Uber Eats platform. After this, the changes will take place immediately and the connection is complete.
- To connect a GrubHub third-party food delivery service, you will follow the same process of selecting the service and clicking the connect button on the right-hand side of the screen. After clicking, you will be prompted to enter your restaurant URL to complete the process. Enter your restaurant URL and submit it. These changes will not take place immediately, as GrubHub only launches on Tuesdays.
- Follow the same process for connecting a DoorDash account to OrderOut on Clover. After clicking connect, you will need to enter your restaurant URL to complete the process. Enter the information and submit it to integrate DoorDash with OrderOut.
- To connect to other platforms like ChowNow or Wix, follow the prompts on the screen which will require you to log in to your third-party food delivery service partner account or enter your restaurant URL to complete the OrderOut integration.
How do I find my GrubHub Restaurant URL?
To find your GrubHub restaurant URL, visit GrubHub.com and enter the street address or city of your restaurant in the navigation bar. Select “search nearby” and locate your restaurant on the results page. Click on your restaurant page and then copy the URL that is displayed at the top of your internet browser. This URL can then be pasted into the OrderOut integration setup page to complete the third-party food delivery services integration with OrderOut.
How do I find my DoorDash Restaurant URL?
Navigate to DoorDash.com and locate the search function found on the homepage. Here, you can enter the name of your restaurant or the address. Once you are able to find your restaurant’s page, click on it. Your restaurant information will populate and your menu will appear. At this point, view the URL listed at the top of your internet browser. Copy this URL and then paste it when requested to complete OrderOut integration with DoorDash.
